تركي العجمة «الأستاذ والتلاميذ».. مرحلة انتهت – أخبار السعودية

الزميل تركي العجمة، الذي عايشت بداياته كمقدم برنامج رياضي، يُعد أحد تلاميذ مدرسة الإعلامي القدير محمد تونسي، تلك المدرسة التي أنجبت خلال فترة رئاسته لقناة الإخبارية العديد من الكفاءات السعودية في مجالات العمل التلفزيوني المختلفة، ومنذ بداياته، لفت انتباهي كمذيع يمتلك موهبة واعدة، ما تزال آنذاك في أول الطريق وعلى بدايات سلم النجاح والشهرة.-حرصتُ كثيراً على دعمه من خلال التجاوب مع اتصالاته واستضافاته، بعدما لمست فيه التزاماً مهنياً وأخلاقياً، وشخصية متزنة تعتز بنفسها، وهو ما جعلني «متفائلاً» بأن النجاح سيكون حليفه وأن أبواب الشهرة ستُفتح له على مصراعيها.-ورغم هذا الإعجاب والتفاؤل، إلا أنني – بصراحة – لم أتفاجأ بانتهاء علاقته مع قناة روتانا خليجية، وذلك لأسباب عدة.فالزميل أبو جود، وفي ظل منافسة شرسة مع قنوات وبرامج رياضية سعودية وخليجية استطاعت جذب المشاهد، ظل ثابتاً إلى حد كبير في آلية إعداد وتقديم برنامج «كورة»، وكذلك في طريقة اختيار الضيوف، على نمط متكرر منذ انطلاق البرنامج قبل أكثر من عشر سنوات.-وحتى إن حدثت بعض التغييرات، فإنها بقيت محدودة للغاية، أقرب إلى التعديلات الشكلية التي تلفت الانتباه مؤقتاً ثم يزول تأثيرها سريعاً. هذه «الرتابة» تحولت مع الوقت إلى حالة من العمل الروتيني «الممل» للمشاهد، وربما قادت البرنامج إلى مرحلة من الاكتفاء الذاتي، انعكست أحياناً على طريقة إدارة الحوار والتعامل مع الضيوف من محللين ونقاد رياضيين، مع سعي دائم إلى تقديم صورة «مثالية» قد لا تكون مطلوبة دائماً، حتى في مفهوم الحياد نفسه الذي يظل قابلاً لاختلاف التفسيرات.-وربما لم يكن من قبيل المصادفة أن يأتي قرار إنهاء العلاقة مع تركي العجمة بصورة سريعة ومتزامنة تقريباً مع أزمة الزميل ماجد التويجري، بعدما أثار ظهوره وخروجه عن النص المتعارف عليه في الطرح ردود فعل واسعة، الأمر الذي أوحى بأن إدارة القناة حسمت موقفها مبكراً، وفضّلت إنهاء المرحلة قبل نهاية الموسم بدلاً من انتظار توقيتها الطبيعي.-أما السبب الآخر، وبعيداً عما سبق، فأعتقد أن مرحلة تركي العجمة داخل «روتانا الخليجية» وصلت بالفعل إلى نهايتها الطبيعية. وكما هو معروف، فإن مالك القناة الأمير الوليد بن طلال كان داعماً قوياً للعجمة، ومؤمناً بمهنيته رغم كل علامات الاستفهام التي كانت تُثار حول اختياره لمقدم برنامج يُعرف بميوله النصراوية، لكن الأمير، فيما يبدو، كان يضع ثقته الكاملة في مهنية أبو جود وقدرته على إدارة برنامجه بصورة متوازنة.-ولعل العامل الأهم في هذه المرحلة يتمثل في رغبة الأمير الوليد بن طلال في إحداث نقلة مختلفة تتماشى مع التحولات الكبيرة التي يشهدها الوسط الرياضي السعودي، خاصة بعد ارتباطه الوثيق بالمشهد الهلالي الرياضي. ومن الطبيعي أن يبحث عن مشروع إعلامي أكثر تطوراً وتأثيراً، ربما من خلال برنامج يمتلك حضوراً جماهيرياً واسعاً وإمكانات أكبر.-ومن هنا جاءت الأحاديث المتداولة حول إمكانية ارتباط الزميل وليد الفراج بالمشهد الجديد، رغم أنني أستبعد تماماً أن يتحول أي مشروع إعلامي يقوده إلى طرح أحادي الاتجاه، ولا شخصية المالك تقبل بهذه الأحادية، فخبرة أبو بدر المهنية لا تسمح له بأن يكون رهينة لميول نادٍ واحد، حتى وإن ظلت تهمة «الميول الهلالية» تلاحقه باستمرار، وهي تهمة لا تخصه وحده، بل أصبحت جزءاً من واقع الوسط الإعلامي الرياضي، حيث باتت الميول الكروية تؤثر بدرجات متفاوتة في الإعداد والتقديم واختيار الضيوف.-في المقابل، أستبعد انتقال أبو بدر إلى «روتانا» أو حتى استمراره كمقدم برنامج، خصوصاً بعد حديثه مع الزميل عبدالله المديفر، والذي بدا لي أنه يتجه إلى خوض تجربة جديدة مرتبطة بالدوري السعودي عبر «قناة ثمانية»، ربما في إطار إداري وتطويري. وإذا صح ذلك، فأعتقد أنها خطوة موفقة للغاية، وقد تمثل نقلة نوعية للدوري السعودي إعلامياً، بشرط ضخ دماء جديدة والتخفيف من هيمنة الأسماء التقليدية التي سيطرت طويلاً على ملف النقل التلفزيوني الرياضي.-وبالعودة إلى تركي العجمة، فإن العودة القوية – إن كان يفكر بها – تتطلب إعادة النظر في طريقة إعداد البرنامج، وآلية اختيار الضيوف، والتركيز على الأسماء «المتميزة» في التحليل والنقد الرياضي، أما تحويل بعض المراسلين إلى نقاد رياضيين، كما حدث مع الزميل ماجد التويجري، فأراه أمراً لم يخدم التجربة بالشكل المطلوب. فالتويجري كان ناجحاً ومميزاً كمراسل ميداني يمتلك الجرأة والقدرة على انتزاع التصريحات، لكن النقد والتحليل الرياضي يحتاجان إلى أدوات وخبرة مختلفة تماماً.-عموماً يبقى تركي العجمة مقدم برامج ناجحاً يمتلك حضوراً خاصاً وكاريزما واضحة، وحتى إن انتهت مرحلته مع «روتانا الخليجية»، فإن المحطة القادمة يجب أن تأتي بفكر مختلف، إعداداً وتقديماً، بعيداً عن الصورة التقليدية التي اختزلت المشهد أحياناً في علاقة «الأستاذ والتلاميذ»، أكثر من كونها مساحة حوار رياضي متجدد ومتوازن ومثير.Colleague Turki Al-Ajma, whom I witnessed at the beginning of his career as a sports program presenter, is considered one of the students of the esteemed media figure Mohamed Tunis. This school produced many Saudi talents in various fields of television work during his presidency of the news channel. From the outset, he caught my attention as a presenter with a promising talent, still at the beginning of the road and at the early stages of the ladder of success and fame.-I was very keen to support him by responding to his calls and invitations, after I noticed in him a professional and ethical commitment, and a balanced personality that takes pride in itself. This made me “optimistic” that success would be his ally and that the doors of fame would open wide for him.-Despite this admiration and optimism, I must honestly say that I was not surprised by the end of his relationship with Rotana Khaleejia, for several reasons.Colleague Abu Jood, in the face of fierce competition with Saudi and Gulf sports channels and programs that managed to attract viewers, remained largely consistent in the way he prepared and presented the “Koura” program, as well as in the way he selected guests, following a repetitive pattern since the program’s launch over ten years ago.-Even if some changes occurred, they remained extremely limited, closer to superficial modifications that temporarily attract attention but quickly lose their impact. This “monotony” gradually turned into a state of “boring” routine work for the viewer, and perhaps led the program to a phase of self-sufficiency, which sometimes reflected on the way dialogue was managed and how guests, including analysts and sports critics, were treated, with a constant effort to present an “ideal” image that may not always be required, even in the very concept of neutrality, which remains open to different interpretations.-It may not have been a coincidence that the decision to end the relationship with Turki Al-Ajma came quickly and almost simultaneously with the crisis of colleague Majid Al-Tuwaijri, after his appearance and deviation from the usual script provoked widespread reactions, suggesting that the channel’s management had made its decision early and preferred to end the phase before the season’s end rather than waiting for its natural timing.-As for the other reason, aside from the above, I believe that Turki Al-Ajma’s phase within “Rotana Khaleejia” has indeed reached its natural end. As is well known, the channel’s owner, Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, was a strong supporter of Al-Ajma and believed in his professionalism despite all the questions raised about his choice of a presenter known for his Al-Nasr affiliations. However, the prince seemed to place his full trust in Abu Jood’s professionalism and his ability to manage his program in a balanced manner.-Perhaps the most important factor at this stage is Prince Alwaleed bin Talal’s desire to make a different shift that aligns with the significant transformations taking place in the Saudi sports scene, especially after his close association with the Al-Hilal sports scene. Naturally, he would seek a more developed and impactful media project, perhaps through a program that has a wide public presence and greater capabilities.-Thus, discussions have circulated about the possibility of colleague Waleed Al-Faraj being linked to the new scene, although I completely rule out that any media project he leads would turn into a one-sided narrative, and the owner’s personality would not accept such one-sidedness. Abu Badr’s professional experience does not allow him to be a hostage to the inclinations of a single club, even if the accusation of “Al-Hilal inclinations” continues to follow him, which is an accusation that does not pertain to him alone but has become part of the reality of the sports media scene, where football inclinations have increasingly influenced preparation, presentation, and guest selection to varying degrees.-On the other hand, I rule out Abu Badr’s transfer to “Rotana” or even his continuation as a program presenter, especially after his conversation with colleague Abdullah Al-Mudayfer, which seemed to indicate that he is heading towards a new experience related to the Saudi league through “Thamanyah Channel,” perhaps in an administrative and developmental capacity. If this is true, I believe it is a very successful step and could represent a qualitative leap for the Saudi league in media terms, provided that new blood is injected and the dominance of traditional names that have long controlled the sports broadcasting file is reduced.-Returning to Turki Al-Ajma, a strong comeback—if he is considering it—requires a reconsideration of the way the program is prepared, the mechanism for selecting guests, and a focus on “distinguished” names in sports analysis and criticism. However, turning some reporters into sports critics, as happened with colleague Majid Al-Tuwaijri, is something I see as not serving the experience as required. Al-Tuwaijri was successful and distinguished as a field reporter with the courage and ability to extract statements, but sports criticism and analysis require entirely different tools and experience.-In general, Turki Al-Ajma remains a successful program presenter with a unique presence and clear charisma. Even if his phase with “Rotana Khaleejia” has ended, the next station should come with a different mindset, in preparation and presentation, away from the traditional image that sometimes reduced the scene to a relationship of “teacher and students,” rather than being a space for renewed, balanced, and exciting sports dialogue.
